We need to talk about something.  I say WE , because I know I'm not the only one.  I'm busy recovering from something I never thought would actually happen to me. #BURNOUT

I'm a Woman

My alarm clock (beautiful husband) comes to wake me at 5am. I ask him to please leave me until 6am. In my mind I know I'm going to regret this so badly because that's the same time my 5 year old needs to get up and ready for school.

Finding a Rhythm again

I'm stuck in a rut.  A major rut... We've had one hell of a year - 2017 was probably our biggest year to date.  As individuals, as a couple, as a family.  Our careers reached new heights and it seemed (almost) too good to be true.

Realness

9 Months Post-Partum... post-partum ˈpɑːtəm/ adjective:   post-partum ; adjective:   postpartum following childbirth or the birth of young. "the custom of post-partum abstinence" I woke up with a heavy heart this morning. I wasn't sure exactly why.  Normally when I work late (which I did) I'm a little 'out of it' the next day.  So my initial thought was that.  But it wasn't.  I grabbed Francisca (my awesome assistant) and said "let's go have coffee".  Little did I know that talking about it made me find the root of my depressed morning.

The Glow

A month ago I wrote a blog. I was unhappy and miserable and wasn't enjoying the last trimester of my pregnancy at all.

Tough times

I've had this blog for a few years now... I loved writing and art and music and netball and being busy, so I wanted to share some of that excitement with whoever wanted to know about it. So I'd write, get all phsyched up about it and then forget about it for a few months. Which is fine, life happens :) (And I forget. A lot) I now have a beautiful three year old daughter who's kept me feeling alive and excited and all the warm and fuzzy feelings that go with it :D

Embracing Oldness

Oldness... it'll be my new word.
