Yesterday I came to the (almost shocking) realization that it's just us now... Just me and my girls.  I found a new sense of deep respect and compassion for single moms during this tough time. 

Covid-19, go f*ck yourself.  

I started this piece at the beginning of the week when my momentum was still going strong...

There are only ten days left of this year... how on earth did that happen?! As Christmas approaches I'm a little overwhelmed by the thought that this might be our last Christmas as South Africans (or maybe not, who knows what the future holds)...

As we get closer to actually packing our bags and moving to another country, we find ourselves getting more and more excited every day.  Yes, still scared shitless, but for now excited for the most part...
